Meet A & J, a couple from California who chose to take their pre wedding photos in the heart of The Netherlands - Amsterdam. From the moment I received their inquiry, I knew it was going to be a session that reignited my love for photographing couples in the city. J was sure she didn’t need to send a Pinterest inspo board because to her, my instagram page was it - one of the best compliments a photographer could receive!

The bride to be connected with the romantic, timeless, and cinematic feel of my photos. Most of all, she loved my true to life, film influenced, and overall timeless editing style.

A & J planned to use these photos for their save the dates so choosing the right location to complement their California wedding aesthetic was important. Naturally, I suggested we photograph at Brouwersgracht and at the Rijksmuseum gardens. Both locations create a perfect setting for a romantic and cinematic feel.

We chose Brouwersgracht for the first half of the photo session where A & J dressed in more casual yet chic attire.

Later we made our way to the Rijksmuseum Gardens where J wore a stunning white midi dress from House of CB. It was the perfect dress to complement the historic and elegant architecture at the Rijksmuseum.
