A Modern Day City Elopement in Utrecht, The Netherlands

When meeting Shauna for the first time over Zoom, there was an instant understanding that their day was going to be a great one - one filled with tons of connection. Shauna’s joy and warmth was effortlessly balanced by Saunder’s calming personality. I could see that their love for each other was real and honest, and I was curious to continue getting to know them.

They both had their hearts set on eloping! And when I say elope, yes, I mean proper elope. You know, where both families had no idea of when and where they’d ultimately tie the knot. It was special knowing they wanted me to be a part of it!

I still look back on it so fondly. Shauna’s happiness was infectious and it just felt like I’d known her for so long. Y’all, I was even chosen to be one of their witnesses! Now that was something I’ll always remember.
