Intimate Fall Elopement In Utrecht

Loved capturing Kevin and Emily’s city elopement- style wedding in Utrecht. Those warm fall tones, the iconic dutch canals, and the idyllic dutch architecture all came together so beautifully to create the dreamiest backdrop to a gezellig bruiloft ( dutch for cozy wedding).

This was my first time photographing a wedding in Utrecht, but luckily Emily and Kevin knew of the perfect locations for the day. The most perfect location, was chosen for the ceremony. They decided to have their ceremony by the canals and HOLY heck guys it was so beautiful. Although it had been raining that morning, we lucked out and had the prettiest sunlight glow.

While only having met them for two hours prior, I already knew these two were made for each other. Their connection was so apparent as they read their vows to each other.

Luckily Klaas and I were able to capture their ceremony on camera for their parents to see. ( Yep, this was a wedding during the COVID “lockdown”.)

Thank you so much Kevin and Emily for having Klaas and I be apart of your special day!! It was such a unique experience that I’ll always remember. <3

Fun Fact: I always come back to Kevin and Emily’s wedding every time I need to be re-inspired. <3
