• What is your wedding photography style?

  My wedding photography style is primarily documentary with a careful blend of traditional, fine - art, and subtle notes of editorial style photography. Overall, I love documenting your story alongside the hope to create meaningful art while preserving the moments that matter most to you.

  The goal is for you to remain present and enjoy EVERY moment, organically without constant interruptions. That being said, during the getting ready process or first look, I may step in to guide and position you for optimal lighting. For example, I may have you stand or sit closer to a window or turn off the lights to prevent a mixed-lighting in a photo. During the portrait session is where I love to get a true blend of documentary and editorial-style photos. While the poses may be slightly traditional, I love to incorporate movement in order to capture your love in an effortless way.

• Do you travel for weddings?

  Yes, definitely! Please inquire for more detailed information on weddings located in the Netherlands or for a custom destination wedding quote.

• Do you photograph destination weddings?

  Yes, I photograph destination weddings! You can contact me for more information.

• What is your turn around time?

  Full wedding galleries are delivered within 6-8 wks. 8 weeks is usually my turnaround time during high season.

  Full galleries of other sessions will be delivered within 4-6 wks.

• How many photos will I receive?

  Weddings:

  6hrs. : 300+

  Then every additional hour includes 25+ photos

  Elopements:

  30+ / hr.

  Couple Sessions:

  30+ / hr.

  Family Sessions:

  30+ / hr.

• Are all photography coverage hours booked, consecutive?

  Yes, with the exception of adventure sessions.

• Do you speak Dutch?

  I am still on my Dutch language learning journey. I do understand a good amount of spoken Dutch. But good news! My second shooter, Klaas, usually joins me on wedding days, and he’s more than happy to help translate EVERYTHING from start to finish!

• Do you retouch skin?

  Yes, but only minimal skin retouching. I will not photoshop baby-smooth skin onto the photos because I believe in embracing every part of YOU. Imperfections and age-related facial features are to be celebrated not hidden. The minor skin retouching I do should take care of temporary blemishes.

• Can you photoshop my face/body to look slimmer?

  No. I want to capture YOU and your beauty in an honest and real way. That being said, I will try my best to get those flattering angles of you!

• Will I receive a mini preview of my wedding day?

  Yes! Weddings and all other session previews are delivered within 3-5 days of your wedding day.
