A Destination Wedding at Villa Tenuta di San giusto in Tuscany, Italy

As an American destination wedding photographer based in Europe, I must admit that Italy is probably in my top two list of countries I love photographing in. Its endless charm is cultivated through its grand culture, gastronomy, and gorgeous landscapes making it one of the best countries to celebrate your destination wedding at. Specifically, one of the most iconic Italian regions to get married in is none other than Tuscany!

But why do so many couples choose to host their wedding in Tuscany? SIMPLE! The region is enveloped with picturesque landscapes that make for the perfect setting. The rolling hills, the plentiful vineyards, and the charming and historic villas breathe life into this region! Not to mention, Tuscany is steeped in history and culture, with charming medieval towns, Renaissance architecture, and art treasures. When you decide to have your wedding in Tuscany, you’ll naturally add a culturally rich environment that adds a unique and timeless element to your special day.

In Tuscany, you’ll be met with many options for wedding venues ranging from historic villas to castles and rustic farmhouses. Most of the time, these venues will allow you to celebrate your wedding all weekend! And who wouldn’t want to enjoy three days with their favorite people celebrating love? Your guests will be so thankful you gave them a reason to book a flight ticket to Tuscany because they’ll also be able to explore the surrounding areas. They’ll have the option to experience wine tastings, cooking classes, and visits to historic sites. It’s a win-win situation!

Down below you’ll find photos of a couple who chose the wedding venue Tenuta di San Giusto located just about an hour away from Florence. It is the perfect spot if you are looking for a cozy venue where you can celebrate your intimate destination wedding. There are several rooms to host your wedding party. It even offers a small pool where you can take a dip on the morning of your wedding! And it has some beautiful views, especially during sunset! Truly stunning. But don’t take my word for it, scroll through these photos. Hopefully, they will inspire you to consider getting married in Tuscany!

And of course, if you need a wedding photographer who has a documentary style with hints of an editorial influence CONTACT ME because I’m ready to start planning your dream Italian destination wedding with you!
